The operator of the DVDrent.hu site, Fotexnet Kft. (1126 Budapest, Nagy Jenő u. 12., in the following: Provider) on the DVDrent.hu site and during its connected activities enforces the following data protection rules concerning data of the User, according to 1992. LXIII. Law about personal data protection and the publicity of data of general interest; 1995. CXIX. Law about managing name and address data for research or bussiness; 1998. VI. Law about protection of the individual during computer procession of personal data:

1. Users agree that the Provider manages the personal and special data of the Users. The Provider pronounces that every data and confidential information supplied by its Users is managed confidentially. The exception is that the Provider has the right to submit the data of the User to a third party in order to collect the debts of the User. The Provider reserves the right to submit the personal data of the User to the competent authorities if the User is suspected of an abuse of the service or any other criminal act.

2. The Provider makes it possible that the Users can review their stored data at any time, can modify them if necessary or can cancel their registration, provided that they have no debts to the Provider. The Provider has the right to store any data of the User necessary for collecting the debts of the User, as long as the User has debts to the Provider.

3. For any other purposes the data can only be used with the written permission granted by the involved User, except for submitting the User’s data to a third party in order to collect the debt of the User to the Provider.

4. The personal data of the Users can only be inspected by the authorized personnel of the Provider. The Provider does not submit the personal data of the Users (including the e-mail address) to a third party, except for submitting the data necessary for collecting User’s debts to a debt-collector company in order to collect the User’s debts to the Provider.

5. Using the services of the site is voluntary. The Rental Contract can be terminated by the User anytime, from the end of the last period the User paid for. The Provider only uses the name and address submitted during registration for the purposes of delivery of rented goods and delivery of prizes won in an occasional prize game. The Provider obliges itself not to impose a sanction on any User unwilling to provide optional data.

6. The Provider sees to that the usage of the personal data of the Users acquired through its services complies with the actual Hungarian law.

7. The Provider agrees at any circumstances not to send any letters to the e-mail addresses provided by the Users, except for e-mails containing information in connection with the service of DVDrent.hu, which the Users agreed to receive by registration.

8. The Provider takes every possible steps to safely protect the data, but does not assume responsibility if data is damaged, destroyed or falls into unauthorized hands due to technical failure, natural disaster, terrorist or criminal act.

9. The Provider takes every possible steps to provide uninterrupted and faultless access to its site but assumes no responsibility for the incidental errors causing misbehaviour of the site and/or incidental data loss.
